Hobe Sound Productions specializes in nature-related videos and the production of environmental education programs. Our company offers video products and services, including: videography, video editing, stock video footage, and production of DVDs. Hobe Sound Productions produced the Video Guide to Identifying Florida Birds, which features over 200 species of birds from all regions of Florida. The program teaches bird identification and promotes awareness of species in need of protection. Hobe Sound Productions also produced Everybody Loves Birds, an entertaining program designed to teach children ages 4 to 12 to identify 50 species of North American birds. The program, which includes a digital activity book, has become an important tool for environmental education in the classroom and community. Ongoing projects include Birds of the Bahamas.
Warbler Identification Workshop
Please join us for the Warbler Identification Workshop at the 15th annual Space Coast Birding and Wildlife Festival to be held January 25 - January 30, 2012 in Titusville, Florida. This is the first warbler identification workshop to project high definition video providing integrated views of plumages, behaviors, songs, and calls of the warblers occurring in eastern North America, including the Bahamas. The workshop features video of 41 species of warblers from ten U.S. states, three Canadian provinces, six Bahamian islands, and Costa Rica. Highlights include rare video footage of the endangered Kirtland's Warbler singing on its breeding grounds in Wisconsin and foraging on its wintering grounds in the Bahamas. Also, the presentation includes new split screen video comparisons of similar species, such as the Louisiana and Northern Waterthrushes; Bahama and Common Yellowthroats; Orange-crowned and Tennessee Warblers; and many new video clips from several recent trips in 2011. Hobe Sound Productions is proud to offer Essential Birding Secrets, a seminar designed for beginning birders.
